The adjacent eatery specializes in authentic, handmade pasta with simple and fresh ingredients. In early 2021, IPIC will also open a 6,635-square-foot destination bar and restaurant, Serena Pastificio next door to the theater. Colony Square, the 50-year-old mixed-use destination, is currently undergoing a $400 million redevelopment by North American Properties. The decor is museum-like with modern paintings and artwork of iconic movie stars, and there were a variety of sitting areas pre-show to enjoy food or drinks with small groups. Alcoholic options include a variety of wine, beer, and signature cocktails. Guests can also expect quintessential movie favorites such as classic and gourmet popcorn flavors, candy and innovative treats, plus a kid’s menu. A few favorites at the VIP preview night were the spicy tuna, red velvet waffles with chicken wings and popcorn laced with churro spices. IPIC’s curated food and beverage menu focuses on seasonally inspired dishes and signature plates, shareables, and keto and vegetarian-friendly options. Guests can enjoy elevated food and beverage service delivered seat-side by “ninja-like” servers for a dine-in-the-dark viewing experience, while relaxing in premium reclining leather seats. IPIC Atlanta will program the latest Hollywood blockbusters and select films in 4K digital projection, chef-inspired cuisine, signature cocktails, including personalized touches from the moment guests arrive. A pioneer of the dine-in theater concept, IPIC Theaters’ mission is to a create an unforgettable experience for guests. Atlanta’s IPIC boasts nine high-tech screens and 426 seats in a variety of configurations, including two-person pod options in auditoriums of as few as 18 seats and as many as 72. Highly recommended.A luxury movie theatre whose time has come has opened in Midtown Atlanta’s revitalized Colony Square, and if anything could lure folks back into the cinema, it’s this epic IPIC. Overall, everybody was so pleased with the accommodations, cleanliness, service, food, and movie, my wife complimented the manager on the way out.Įven though it was far more expensive than we normally spend on an evening out, we will probably do it again on a future visit to Atlanta, if Hollywierd produces anything worth watching. We enjoyed two large popcorns during the movie. I didn’t get her real-time reaction because we were separated, but later she remarked that her meal was good as well. My daughter ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls. She kept remarking that everything was “Absolutely delicious!”. My wife’s mani fish and chips were served with three large pieces of mahi, deep fat fried with a tempura batter, French fries, Cole slaw and two small cups of dipping sauces. It was quite possibly the best nachos grande I’ve ever enjoyed. The bed of thin, crisp nachos were served on a long plate covered with a generous layer of queso, pico de gallo, sour cream, fresh jalapeños and a plop of guacamole in the middle. We ordered fish and chips, nachos grande with steak, buffalo chicken spring rolls and three cokes for our dinner. There is a call button built into the table top which summons your server to place your order. The theater uses a paperless menu system that requires you to scan a code on the top of the table to access their menu. Other theaters had more booths and some 4-person booths. Theater 1 only had two-person booths, so if there are an odd number of people in your group, someone will be sitting alone. Due to the small number of booths, the theater offers the atmosphere of an intimate dining experience. The back of the booths are covered with material and are up to or a little higher than the back of the seats which provide privacy and sound insolation. The seat are power recliners with controls on the side of the booths by the cup holders. It was showing in Theater #1, which is a nicely designed space with 9 two-person booths which have a shared rotating table between the seats and tilt-out cup holders on the side of the booths. While visiting the Atlanta-based member of our traveling trio, we all went to IPIC to see “Jesus Revolution”.
